Small wonders

It is a rainy day outside, one of those grey and drizzle kind of days that I have come to appreciate so much. An excuse to rest and reset instead of being out in the garden. I instinctively slow down and take time for other tasks or just to sit and read and enjoy the view.

The garden is recovering from the heat and growing fast.  But here in the South the right plants can be magnificent even with very little to go on. Sometimes extremely little, like this little wonder a friend of mine discovered yesterday outside my home.  Sometimes all it takes, is the will to bloom.

Enjoyed both your Mother’s Day Tour entry–all I kept thinking was “WOW!!!!!”–as well as your Small Wonders post. Lovely. Thank you for bringing your beauty to our lives, Anke. : )
